Iran has ignited the fire of revenge to avenge the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in attacks by the United States and Israel.

From the Ramat David Airbase to the Negev Desert, Iranian missiles are wreaking havoc across every corner of Israel. Under the impact of these missiles, the pride of the Israeli military is being blown away like straw. In addition, Israel’s air defense has become synonymous with failure in the face of Iran’s Mosaic Doctrine and coordinated missile strikes. Airports are paralyzed, air routes are blocked, and with continuous casualties on the battlefield, Israel appears trapped in Iran’s quicksand—leaving the occupying forces with no clear way out. Israeli policymakers hiding in bunkers in Tel Aviv are now realizing how terrifying it can be to confront the “Lion of Persia.”

Meanwhile, according to reports from Western media, Iranian forces are targeting key facilities in an effort to cripple Israel during the war. On Thursday, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it carried out strikes targeting Ben Gurion Airport—often referred to as the heart of Israel—as well as the 27th Airbase of the Israeli Air Force located there. The IRGC said that powerful Khorramshahr-4 ballistic missiles were used in the attack.

According to the IRGC, the strike was part of the 19th phase of Operation True Promise Four. Iran claims that its missiles penetrated Israel’s seven-layer air defense system and struck the airport. The devastation from the attack has reportedly created chaos for Israel. Various media outlets report that all operations at the airport have been brought to a halt as a result of the strike.

The Khorramshahr-4 is one of Iran’s most powerful missiles. It can carry a 1,500-kilogram explosive payload and has a range of about 2,000 kilometers. It is capable of traveling at speeds up to 16 times the speed of sound outside the atmosphere, making it extremely difficult for any existing defense system in the world to intercept.

Not only Israel, but U.S. forces are also reportedly being targeted by waves of missile strikes. Iranian forces claim they have hit at least 20 U.S. military targets in Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, causing significant damage to American military facilities. According to the Iranian side, out of fear of the missile attacks, U.S. troops have abandoned their bases and are taking shelter in civilian residential areas.

Meanwhile, the IRGC has reportedly attacked a U.S. oil tanker in the Persian Gulf. After the attack, the IRGC warned the United States that the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz will remain under Iran’s full control during the war. The IRGC also warned that no military or commercial vessels belonging to the United States, Israel, or their European allies will be allowed to pass through the strait.

Experts say that so far in the ongoing conflict, Iran is fighting fiercely “like a lion.” They believe that if Iran maintains its military strategy in the coming days, U.S. and Israeli forces may face even greater setbacks.
